New generation of weighing transmitters from Minebea Intec

In the world of analog weighing, weighing transmitters are crucial instruments for determining reliable weight values and automatically transmitting them to a controller or software systems for further processing. With the Link E, Minebea Intec now introduces its new, completely revised series of weighing transmitters. According to the manufacturer, the focus of development was on simple process integration, intuitive operation and precision at a good price. For example, the new Link E is currently the only product on the market with a high-contrast touch display on which the status and all functions can be read directly. Thanks to this integrated display, all information and settings are visible at all times and the status of the scale can be checked quickly. Via a standard web browser, the Link E can be easily configured by entering the IP address without any further software installation. For security reasons, this data is password protected and can also be saved on the PC. The well-known "Smart Calibration" also enables - calibration completely without weights. Installation and access times are reduced to a minimum with these functions and mechanical errors are detected.

Another new feature of the Link E is the variety of interfaces. No fewer than nine common interfaces and fieldbuses - including Profibus, ProfiNet, DeviceNet and Ethernet/IP - are available for easy integration into automation systems, so that every user worldwide can find the right connection for their production processes. For integrators and plant engineers, this offers the advantage that they do not have to change manufacturers and constantly familiarize themselves with other weighing systems. This ensures fast and direct integration into higher-level systems and avoids errors. Three digital inputs and outputs are available for simple control tasks. The variety of interfaces in particular makes the Link E interesting for use in a wide range of industrial sectors. From plant engineering to logistics, users benefit from the simple integration and flexibility. Application examples include storage tank monitoring, control of process containers or weight transmission to operating terminals of software systems.
