New to the Hahn + Kolb range are the new 45° high-performance face milling cutters from Atorn: Twelve efficient cutting edges per insert enable smooth cuts, excellent surface finishes and low-noise machining - both for finishing and roughing of aluminum, steel, stainless steel or special alloys.

The new 45° face milling cutters from the Hahn + Kolb brand Atorn are ideal for cost-efficient universal use. Their optimized design guarantees long tool life, reduced machining times and maximum productivity. The indexable inserts of the new Atorn face milling cutter series can be used on both sides and are therefore particularly economical with twelve real cutting edges. Variable carrier designs in the diameter range 32-125 mm also enable their use on machines of all performance classes.

The latest development stage of the soft-cutting indexable inserts is available in both ground and precision-sintered versions. Geometry designs adapted to the application also offer various advantages for aluminum and light finishing (FN-F/EN-F geometry) as well as for machining steel, stainless steel or special alloys (SN-M geometry).
