Mirka was able to celebrate a double success at the renowned Red Dot Design Award. The Deros RS 600 rotary sander and the Dexos 1217 M AFC industrial vacuum cleaner were awarded the coveted design prize.

Finnish sanding technology and machine manufacturer Mirka has once again been honored with the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design. This year, two of the company's products received the coveted award. Mirka devices have already been successful in previous years: the Deros (2014), AOS-B (2017) and Leros (2018) models, among others, won a Red Dot Award.

A particular focus this year is on the new Dexos industrial vacuum cleaner, which was launched as the first model in a new product line. According to Mirka, the device marks a technological advance within the existing vacuum cleaner portfolio. The company emphasizes that the Dexos sets new standards in terms of user-friendliness, performance and connectivity. Future software updates will also further expand the system's functionality. In addition to the Dexos, the Deros RS 600 rotary sander is another Mirka product that has won an award for its user-oriented design. According to the company, the double award is a confirmation of its own development approach.
