Micro-Epsilon 3D snapshot sensors even more powerful
The most powerful Micro-Epsilon 3D snapshot sensors of the latest generation from the SurfaceControl series measure even the finest details on surfaces. They set new standards in the geometry, shape and surface inspection of matt objects.
According to the manufacturer, the new generation of Micro-Epsilon SurfaceControl 3D snapshot sensors takes 3D surface measurement technology to a new level. At 0.25 µm, the sensors not only offer maximum Z precision, but now also an outstanding XY resolution of up to 8 µm. This means that the sensors can now detect even finer details and perform even more precise measurements than before.
Sensors from the SurfaceControl series are used wherever maximum precision is required. This includes applications in the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors as well as semiconductors, additive manufacturing and research and development. With the inline-capable sensors, Micro-Epsilon offers industrial customers a complete solution from data acquisition to measured value output. There are also extensive interfaces. The new measuring range of 30 mm complements the SurfaceControl 3D 3xx0 model series of geometry, shape and surface inspection systems for matt targets. This sensor is suitable for smaller objects with a maximum dimension of 31 mm x 19.5 mm. For measurements in harsh production environments or for use on robots, the sensor is embedded in a sturdy aluminum housing and certified with protection class IP67.
