Mahr presents measurement technology innovations at Control 2025

Mahr will be exhibiting at the 37th Control in Stuttgart from May 6 to 9, 2025. In line with the trade fair motto "Empowering Optical Metrology", the metrology provider will be presenting products and solutions for production metrology and surface measurement in Hall 3, Stand 3104 and 3204.
One of Mahr's trade fair highlights at Control 2025 is the MarSurf MC 510, an innovative automated solution for measuring surface roughness on workpieces directly in the CNC production machine. The measuring device is fully integrated into the tool holder, where it measures using a vibration-resistant, tactile free probe system - compliant with standards and highly accurate down to Rz 1 µm. Mahr is expanding its product range of manual surface measuring devices with the MarSurf SD 140 AG 11, which can check both roughness and contour features - in just one measuring pass. The measuring station offers easy handling and reliable quality assurance thanks to its high level of functionality. It is therefore also suitable as an entry-level model for stationary surface measurement technology.
Many trade fair highlights from Mahr at Control 2025
With the acquisition of OptoSurf GmbH in 2024, Mahr has expanded its portfolio to include scattered light technology. For the first time at Control 2025, experts will be able to see the devices as part of the MarSurf3D family, such as the MarSurf3D Sensor OS 500 scattered light sensor. Mahr is thus offering its customers new possibilities in the field of tribology. With the Micromar 844 EWR(i), Mahr is adding a digital 3-point internal measuring device for testing internal diameters to its broad and deep range of hand-held measuring technology. This impresses with its ergonomic handle with pull-back lever for fast, self-centring measurements over the entire measuring range and the rotatable display with touch operation. Mahr has relaunched the digital dial gauges of the MarCator family. The devices impress with innovative features: touch control buttons, extra-hardened glass fronts, colored LEDs for measured value classification and unparalleled remote control and connectivity ensure unique convenience when measuring and setting the device. Manuel Hüsken, CEO of the Carl-Mahr Group, says: "Control is the leading international trade fair for quality assurance and therefore an important industry event for us as a company in the field of production measurement technology. This is where the solution providers and the broadest specialist audience come together to exchange information on innovations. The trade fair is therefore also the ideal platform for us to showcase our products and solutions and communicate with our customers. We therefore always look forward to presenting our product highlights to the experts in Stuttgart."
