Krahn Chemie expands Technical Service Center

Krahn Chemie is expanding its Technical Service Center at the Bottrop site: the new 1,400 square meter premises combine laboratory services with training courses.
Krahn Chemie's new concept at the new Technical Service Center in Bottrop focuses on the close connection between practical training and laboratory applications. This gives customers and partners the opportunity to develop formulations together with Krahn, optimize products, receive further training on site and organize joint training courses. In addition to state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, fully equipped training rooms are now also available at the site. The first training courses for customers and workshops together with producer partners are already planned for the coming months. "With the expansion of our Technical Service Center in Bottrop, we are taking another step towards future viability," explains Martin John, CEO of Krahn Chemie. "We see that individual solutions are increasingly in demand on the market. We are responding to this with a corresponding offer." Karlheinz Schuster, Managing Director of Krahn Chemie Germany, adds: "Our customers and producer partners benefit from the specialist knowledge of our employees on site and can test formulations directly. This enables us to better meet the needs of our customers and the increasing demands on performance and sustainability."
Krahn invests in sustainability
In addition to expanding its product range, Krahn is also underlining its commitment to sustainability with this investment. The aim is to drive forward the development and use of more environmentally friendly products - by combining sustainability and technical services as well as an extensive product portfolio of bio-based and recycled products. "We are proud to be able to offer our partners even more room for collaboration, exchange and growth with this expansion," says Karlheinz Schuster. A team of eight employees currently works for Krahn Chemie in Bottrop. The company has additional laboratories in Poznań (Poland), Lainate and Berbenno (Italy) and Gothenburg (Sweden), supporting partners throughout Europe in the fields of paints and coatings, construction chemicals, adhesives, plastics, personal care and cleaning agents with comprehensive laboratory and sustainability services.
