Kempf introduces chamfer milling cutter with world's first V-shaped cutting edge

With the new "Burrless Chamfering Cutter" from Kempf Tools and the world's first V-shaped cutting edge, the formation of secondary burrs is completely avoided, eliminating the need for downstream deburring processes. The company will present the deburring tool at DeburringExpo 2023.
The new "Burrless Chamfering Cutter" from Kempf takes chamfering to a new level. The formation of secondary burrs is completely avoided by the world's first V-shaped cutting edge, eliminating the need for downstream deburring processes. In terms of process reliability, accuracy and tool life, the new deburring tool also sets standards. Kempf used the new chamfer milling cutter with great success at its first customers shortly after its market launch at the beginning of the year.
In one customer application, more than 10 times the tool life was achieved in stainless steel compared to the chamfer cutters previously used. The previously used tool was already so worn after about 50 components that secondary burrs developed. A "Burrless Chamfering Cutter" even machined the 550 and also the last component of this series without any secondary burr. In order to cover as many applications and material groups as possible, the new chamfering cutter is offered in different versions, for example for non-ferrous metals, plastics, composite materials and even superalloys. Kempf GmbH will be represented at DeburringExpo 2023 at booth 314.
