Joke Technology takes over Hesmer Antriebstechnik
Joke Technology took over the entire business activities of Hesmer Antriebstechnik at the start of 2025. This means that the products of market leader Hesmer for polishing stands and precision machines will be manufactured exclusively by Joke in future.
As a previous sales partner, Joke Technology has long had Hesmer's Polierbock UVM machines, which are used for polishing, deburring and hand sanding, among other things, in its product range. With the takeover of Hesmer's business activities, the surface expert is now integrating them into its own production lines - with the existing brand names and product features remaining unchanged: "The Polierbock UVM machines are technically the reference class for polishing blocks, durable and insensitive to faults," says Carsten Schütz, Sales Manager at Joke Technology. "That's why they are so popular. We continue to manufacture them with an extremely powerful motor, which provides enormous pulling power even at low speeds. At the same time, a highly effective electromagnetic brake ensures an immediate stop without coasting, even at high speeds - for example, in an emergency stop or when opening the protective cover." The precise and powerful clamping devices for tools and workpieces also contribute to safe working. Particularly high-quality precision ball bearings and a mechanical design specially developed by Hesmer Antriebstechnik ensure low-vibration operation.
Polishing machines from Hesmer are Made in Germany
Joke Technology is prepared for the high international demand for the polishing blocks: "We have an excellent sales force throughout Europe and work together with strong trading partners abroad. We are also very well positioned in our production and logistics. We therefore continue to offer the highest quality 'Made in Germany' with worldwide delivery. We can meet the high demand quickly," promises Carsten Schütz. In addition to the standard Junior, Regatron, Praktika, Mechanika and Ergonom products, Joke Technology is also able to accommodate numerous special requests when equipping the Polierbock UVM machines: Depending on customer requirements, purpose-oriented integration into production lines through to combination with robots is possible. Depending on the type of application, users will also find the right tools in the Joke Technology portfolio, such as polishing wheels or pastes, to ensure an optimum end result.
