Innovent is exhibiting at SurfaceTechnology Germany 2026 in Stuttgart. In Hall 1, Stand D27, the Jena-based research institute will be presenting innovative solutions in the field of functional coatings and surfaces for industrial applications.

Innovent e.V.'s trade fair appearance at SurfaceTechnology Germany 2026 will focus on durable and application-oriented coating systems that are specifically designed to meet industrial requirements such as wear resistance, corrosion protection, hygienic properties or optical functionality. The exhibits will include corrosion-resistant and optically functional coatings such as PCO and electroless nickel, antimicrobial surfaces and plasma-sprayed components with customized functional coatings. As a research partner and technology provider, Innovent covers the entire value chain - from surface preparation and process development to functional coatings and material and coating-related analysis. The aim is to provide industrial components with improved functional properties and at the same time enable economically scalable processes.

In addition to the trade fair presentation, Dr. Kerstin Horn will provide insights into current research results in the accompanying specialist forum. In her presentation on multifunctional surfaces based on cold plasma-sprayed Al₂O₃-Cu composite coatings, industrial application potentials will be highlighted in a practical way. Trade visitors are invited to the Innovent stand to find out about new developments in the field of functional surfaces and to discuss specific application and project ideas.
