Igos Institute at the ZVO Surface Technology Conference 2026: Testing Services

The Igos Institute for Electroplating and Surface Technology will be exhibiting at Booth 21 at the ZVO Surface Technology Days 2026. As a testing service provider, it offers solutions for material and surface engineering problems as well as for coating-related issues.
As a testing laboratory accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025, Igos analyzes surfaces, coatings, and materials, and performs characterization and testing for quality assurance purposes. Its services include coating analysis, damage analysis, corrosion testing, consulting, electroplating, chemical analysis, training, and continuing education. Igos is an independent partner dedicated to promoting economic development, facilitating the transfer of expertise regarding new technologies (e.g., through seminars), and serving as a point of contact for questions regarding surface technology.
DIN EN ISO 17025-accredited testing laboratory
Based on the experience and capabilities Igos has gained through conducting corrosion tests (salt spray tests, cyclic environmental tests, etc.), as well as in coating characterization and damage analysis, it has been accredited to DIN EN ISO 17025 for 20 years. The institute’s expertise is utilized both within and outside the coatings industry. Tests addressing unusual issues are made possible through interdisciplinary teamwork. These include damage analyses of failed parts and external, routine inspection of production (including third-party monitoring of corrosion testing equipment), support for supplier audits, and the performance of initial sample tests in accordance with various specifications and standards. In addition, practical developments and contract research projects are carried out in close collaboration with industry.
