Hernee Hartanodic is expanding its range of services to include technically demanding titanium blasting. The new process is the company's response to the growing requirements of many sensitive high-tech industries.

The new offering from Hernee Hartanodic GmbH, a specialist in functional surface finishing, is based on a state-of-the-art injector blasting cabinet in combination with a special blasting medium. Through precise dosing and targeted injection, sensitive titanium surfaces can be reliably processed in accordance with specific drawing specifications - without thermal or mechanical damage to the base material.

"Right from the start, our focus was on developing a reliable process that delivers consistently high-quality results - regardless of component geometry or series size," explains Marc-Manuel Peter, Operations Manager at Hernee. Extensive test series enabled the exact setting of the desired surface roughness - a key aspect for the subsequent functionality and service life of the components. An in-house roughness measuring device also ensures continuous monitoring and compliance with the required specifications in real time. In this way, Hernee guarantees maximum repeat accuracy and process control. Titanium blasting can be flexibly adapted to individual customer requirements: from the selective processing of individual component areas to the full-surface refurbishment of complex workpieces.
