At Parts2clean 2023, Hermann Bantleon GmbH will present Avilub Metasolv 706 and Avilub Metasolv 1491, products that can also be used as cleaning media in medical technology.

Titanium test specimens were cleaned under practical conditions with the two cleaning media from Hermann Bantleon and subjected to test procedures. The results confirm that both products are suitable for cleaning tasks in medical technology. This is supported by the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology IGB, Stuttgart, which conducted a test of the cleaned components for biocompatibility or cytotoxic effect according to DIN ISO 1099-5, 2009. The examination of the extracts of the cleaning residues of the two media, both non-sterile and heat-sterilized, showed no cytotoxic effects on HaCaT keratinocytes.

Specially developed media are required for the manufacture of components for high vacuum applications, such as those used in the semiconductor industry (EUV and DUV technology). In this context, OEMs often have special requirements for processing and cleaning media (ban on HIO elements). The company develops and produces products especially for this area. Hermann Bantleon will be exhibiting at Parts2clean at booth D35.
