At Formnext 2024, Henkel will be presenting its latest innovations in the field of 3D printing materials. This year, the company is presenting a new high-performance resin and a recent addition to its portfolio for medical applications.

Henkel supplies a variety of advanced materials for 3D printing that are tailored to current industrial challenges in additive manufacturing - from rapid prototyping to high-volume production. With its latest products, the company aims to help customers qualify new applications, increase safety and also make the possibilities of 3D printing available to a wider range of users. Loctite 3D IND6845 has been specifically developed and optimized for industrial applications. It therefore enables users to use it efficiently on various printer systems, both at a wavelength of 385nm and 405nm. Loctite 3D IND6845 is TPO-free and therefore has an improved occupational safety profile. In addition, it offers an optimal combination of impact strength, elongation at break and heat deflection temperature (HDT) - ideal for manufacturers looking for materials for use in industrial production.

The recently launched Loctite 3D MED3394 has been developed to withstand multiple sterilization processes without compromising functionality. Loctite 3D MED3394 meets the stringent biocompatibility standards ISO 10993-5, -10, -11 and -23 as well as USP Class VI certification. In addition, it offers not only excellent chemical resistance but also high print accuracy, making it a reliable choice for medical applications. "We are continuously expanding our portfolio of 3D printing materials with the goal of providing reliable and high-performance solutions tailored to our customers' needs," said Dr. Daniel Adams, Vice President at Henkel Loctite 3D Printing. "We look forward to showcasing our latest developments at Formnext and engaging with customers and partners." Henkel's experts will be exhibiting these new materials at the Formnext Mesago trade show in Frankfurt from November 19-22 at booth 11.1 E29.
