Sabo Boxtel BV, the Dutch market leader for induction hardening and part of the Härtha Group, has added nitriding to its product range with two new, modern, evaluable nitriding tempering furnaces.

Supported by code number control with hydrogen sensor and oxygen probe, the processes gas nitriding, gas nitrocarburizing, oxidizing, ALDOX, and vacuum tempering can be controlled down to the smallest detail at Sabo Boxtel. The customer benefits are obvious: a broader product range, fast delivery times and perfect all-round service.

In addition, a new photovoltaic system will be commissioned this year at the production site in Boxtel. The annual energy production of the plant, which will be built on the factory premises, amounts to more than 175 MWh. This covers around 30 percent of the total annual electricity consumption at the Boxtel site. Following last year's switch to 100 percent green electricity, this is another important component of the Härtha Group's sustainability strategy and makes an important contribution to the Group's goal of CO2 neutrality by 2030. Rapid implementation at all Härtha sites is of great importance in achieving the goal of CO2 neutrality in 2030.
