From June 12 to 16, 2023, Düsseldorf will become the center of the international foundry and metallurgical industry: The world's leading trade fair Gifa will be held together with Metec, Thermprocess and Newcast. Together they cover the entire spectrum of foundry technology, casting products, metallurgy and thermoprocess technology.

As the world's most important trade fair for the foundry industry, Gifa covers all aspects of future-oriented innovations with its range of products and services. In June, the trade fair audience can look forward to a diverse range of foundry machinery, castings, machine tools, robotics, 3D printing and much more. Environmental and resource conservation as well as energy efficiency play a major role. In addition, Gifa offers an extensive supporting program with special shows, lectures, discussions, presentations and events bringing together participants from all over the world. Around 900 exhibitors from all high-production countries will be presenting themselves in Halls 10 to 13 and 15 to 17.

In total, more than 2,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries will be presenting at the combined show, picking up on global trends and showcasing the full range of current technologies and products in twelve exhibition halls. The hot topics of the "Bright World of Metals" are: Decarbonization of the Metallurgical Industry, ecoMetals, Circular Economy, Digitalization, Additive Manufacturing Processes as well as E-Mobility and Automotive Lightweight Construction. "Given the current industry environment, we have a forward-looking Gifa, Metec, Thermprocess and Newcast coming up in June. With the EU's Climate Protection Plan 2050, the metallurgical industry is touching hot potatoes right now and more than ever needs a strong communication platform for global exchange. Exhibitor feedback shows that the June meeting at the four technology trade fairs will be an absolute highlight," explains Malte Seifert, Director of Gifa, Metec, Thermprocess and Newcast at Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. "The relaxation of travel in the Asian region has given an additional boost to exhibitor registrations. This year, trade visitors can therefore once again look forward to the usual high level of internationality at the four trade fairs," says Malte Seifert.
