The Fraunhofer Vision business unit will be represented at the Control Expert Days on May 20 and 21, 2026 in Stuttgart with two keynote speeches. The two-day specialist event combines an exhibition and expert presentations.

Dipl.-Ing. Michael Salamon from the Fraunhofer IIS Development Center for X-ray Technology in Fürth will be speaking on the first day of the Control Expert Days, which will focus on "Quality management plus sustainability". In his presentation, he will show how X-ray inspection technology can contribute to the resilient and sustainable production of tomorrow. On the second day, which will focus on artificial intelligence, Dr. Henrike Stephani from Fraunhofer ITWM, Kaiserslautern, will speak on the topic: "AI in quality control - opportunities and challenges in industrial use".

Control Expert Days 2026 focus on quality assurance

Industrial quality assurance is undergoing a continuous, dynamic transformation process. Digitalization, automation and constantly changing standards are constantly defining new requirements and processes. The Control Expert Days 2026 pick up on these developments and offer a platform for exchange, innovation and practical insights, to which the keynote speeches by Fraunhofer Vision will also contribute. The event serves as a supplement to the next Control trade fair, which will be held again in May 2027.
