Fraunhofer IPA: Seminar on digitalization in electroplating technology
At the Fraunhofer IPA seminar "Electroplating technology meets digitalization" on 26 November 2026, electroplating companies will learn from practical reports which steps are necessary for digitalization and where hurdles and difficulties can be avoided.
Fraunhofer IPA's "Electroplating meets digitalization" seminar is aimed at electroplating companies that want to take their first steps towards digitalization and exploit the huge potential offered by digitalization. It explains how and which steps need to be taken when setting up digitalization in the electroplating process. Many companies already have a large amount of data available, but do not yet know how to evaluate or use it. Or have a specific digitalization idea, but are not yet able to implement it in their own company.
At the "Electroplating technology meets digitalization" seminar, participants will learn how and which steps need to be taken to set up digitalization in the electroplating process. This will include a presentation on a successful digitization project from practice. In addition, it will be shown how added value can be generated for your own company from pure data collection and what potential lies in the utilization and evaluation of data. Another item on the agenda is the topic of AI: participants will learn what the term AI really means and where AI could find its way into production in the future.
