With a new structure, Formnext has adapted its conference concept to the increasing demand for more knowledge transfer and a more in-depth exchange. Interested users can now apply to Formnext with their contributions.

At Formnext 2023 (November 7 - 10), the conference will devote three stages simultaneously to current and future applications, technologies and relevant metatrends. With the new Application, Industry and Technology Stages, the world's leading trade show for next-generation manufacturing and additive manufacturing technologies is significantly expanding its supporting program. The various Stages, which are freely accessible to all trade show visitors and stakeholders, create an excellent insight and overview of the most important topics in the AM industry. This ranges from exciting applications from various industries from medicine to aerospace and construction. It also features the latest technologies that will be showcased by exhibitors at Formnext. Important overarching topics such as sustainability, skills shortages and financing will also be discussed and explored in depth by leading experts and executives in the form of lectures, as well as panel discussions.

For Formnext, the new conference concept is the next logical step in the further development of the trade fair and will further promote the important exchange between technology suppliers and users. "This will enable us to even better meet the industry demand we experienced last year, while creating even more space for exchange, transfer of knowledge and experience," explains Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext at organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. With its various stages, Formnext will also present the entire process chain across all major industries in the conference program and will map AM manufacturing both horizontally and vertically throughout. On the Application Stage, exciting applications from various industries will be presented in different thematic blocks, each with four 20-minute presentations: from mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry, aerospace, medical technology and electrical engineering to tool and die making and automation. For each industry, the entire process chain will be highlighted, from materials to pre-processing, additive production to post-processing and quality assurance. The focus of the Industry Stage is on interdisciplinary exchange with industry experts and sector representatives. Current, formative topics such as sustainability and digitalization will be presented in a keynote, explored in greater depth in "Expert Insights" and further discussed in a "Panel Discussion". The "Call for Speakers" starts now. Proposals for contributions can be submitted via the Call for Speakers form by 30.06.2023 at the latest.
