ECS 2023: Wacker presents solutions for the construction and coatings industry

At the first European Coatings Show after the Covid pandemic, chemicals group Wacker will be presenting a wide range of product and application highlights. In addition to technical presentations, live demos and multimedia visualizations, the company also has a number of new products in its luggage.
Among the products Wacker will be showcasing for the first time at ECS 2023 (March 28-30) are binders for high-temperature coatings and high solids, silicone additives for silicate interior wall coatings, dispersible polymer powders for tile adhesives, polymer dispersions for cementitious sealants and a new silicone resin binder for stone carpets. The company will present itself to trade show visitors twice in Hall 1: at Booth 1-206, where experts will provide information on construction, sealant and coating solutions, and at Booth 1-312, where the Wacker Academy Forum will invite visitors to attend technical presentations and live demos.
Wacker Silicones will also be showcasing sustainable solutions for the construction and coatings industries: resource-conserving silicone sealants and silicone resins for solvent-free high-temperature coatings, for example, or silicone additives for biocide-free interior wall paints. "Sustainability is a key concern for us as a company," emphasizes Robert Gnann, Head of theWacker Silicones Business Unit "The ECS is a very good platform for discussing innovative and sustainable solutions with customers and those who want to become customers. We are particularly looking forward to this dialog." Wacker will also present a new polymer resin binder for the formulation of solvent-based coatings, printing inks, high-solids and UV-curing systems at ECS. The chemical company will also present a concept at the ECS that aims to achieve greater sustainability, in particular a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in the production of Vinnol polymer resins. Products manufactured using energy from renewable sources will be available as early as this summer.
