Lucite 820 SolSilicate is a mineral façade paint in accordance with DIN 18363 2.4.1 and the ideal choice for anyone looking for a durable and aesthetic façade coating. This matt sol-silicate paint impresses with its high diffusion capacity and excellent color stability, which makes it particularly suitable for renovating historical buildings. However, it also creates an attractive appearance on new buildings that blends in perfectly with any architectural environment. The silicate surface reliably prevents algae and fungal growth and ensures a healthy climate on the surface. Last but not least, the façade paint is characterized by its high UV resistance and low chalking tendency. As a result, the façade not only remains visually appealing, but is also resistant to weathering and environmental influences.
Noble matt façade surface and innovative protection technology
Lucite 844 SilicoTec with new, improved UV resistance (class A) is also available for the most demanding façade coating applications. This elegant matt silicone resin paint is characterized by a special binder-filler combination that provides a low-stress surface and also acts as an air membrane. Thanks to this innovative technology - the so-called lotus effect - the tendency of the façade to become soiled is significantly reduced. Lucite 844 SilicoTec offers not only an aesthetic, but also a functional solution: Its fungicidal and algaecidal finish reliably protects against moss and algae growth. In addition, the paint meets the high requirements of DIN EN 1062 and is therefore highly permeable to water vapor, waterproof and extremely weather-resistant. It offers optimum protection against soiling, premature greening and the penetration of moisture from rain or condensation. Both products - Lucite 820 SolSilicat and Lucite 844 SilicoTec - offer efficient and user-friendly application.
