Dörken draws positive conclusion after Fastener Fair Global 2023

At the Dörken booth, the experts, including Key Account Managers René Rother and Klaus Gradtke, held interesting discussions with visitors, who learned about the latest developments in the field of corrosion protection. Dörken presented advanced technologies and innovations that make a decisive contribution to the protection of surfaces and materials. One highlight was the new Topcoat Delta-Protekt TC 502 GZ. The product is a hybrid topcoat with excellent friction coefficient properties for use on metric components. It provides a very narrow friction coefficient window, is free of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and has a silver finish. The joint success story with Peiner Umformtechnik, a supplier of fasteners for wind turbines, also attracted attention from visitors. Here, hot-dip galvanized wires were given an additional topcoat to keep friction values stable regardless of weather conditions - a solution that has proven its worth in several million wires installed.

Another major topic at the show was the cooperation between Dörken, Ejot and WMV. The three companies came together in search of a new coating option for micro screws manufactured by Ejot. Plant manufacturer WMV was involved in the project as a specialist in surface treatment machinery, and Dörken as a supplier of component-specific paint. Together, after years of work, they managed to develop an innovative coating process for very small parts. A video on this cooperation was on display at Dörken's booth, and it was also the subject of a lot of conversation. "We were very pleased to finally be back at Fastener Fair Global after four years," said Christos Tselebidis, Vice President Sales Industrial Coatings. "For us at Dörken, the show was exceptional. From the preparation to the last minute, everything worked flawlessly. But most important were all the interesting and insightful conversations we had with old and potentially new partners." For Dörken, Fastener Fair Global 2023 was a great success overall. The fair provided an excellent opportunity to talk about new as well as proven solutions and to exchange ideas with other companies and experts.
