For the reconditioning of truck engine components, BvL Oberflächentechnik set up a complex cleaning line that not only thoroughly removes impurities, but also makes the components quickly accessible again.

Oil, grease, oil carbon, rust - when reconditioning truck engine components, they not only have to be removed thoroughly, the components also have to be available again quickly. For a large automotive supplier in southern Germany, a particularly short cycle time was important for the reconditioning of complete engines. BvL Oberflächentechnik met the challenge with a complex cleaning line.

In addition to pre- and fine cleaning, the system concept includes drying and cooling and consists of a total of five stations in which the components are treated simultaneously. The multi-chamber design of the fine cleaning system enables a high throughput and provides redundancy. The plant sections are also interlinked, eliminating the need for manual intervention after loading. Information about this will be available at Parts2clean 2022, where BvL will be exhibiting in Hall 4, Stand A10.
