Busch AG can look back on 50 successful years since it was founded in Switzerland. The employees and their families were invited to celebrate the anniversary.

Live music welcomed guests to the Busch AG anniversary celebration in a festively decorated tent, where candles in the company color created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Sami and Kaya Busch, co-CEOs and co-owners of the Busch Group, also attended the event with their families. The anniversary celebration was not only an opportunity to strengthen the community of employees and enjoy the family atmosphere at Busch AG, but also provided an opportunity to review the company's success story. Max Zulauf Wyss was the first managing director of Busch AG in Binningen from 1974, before the company moved to an office in Münchenstein. At the beginning of the 1980s, Busch AG moved to Muttenz. Under the management of Hans Steybe, the Busch building in Magden was constructed and occupied in April 1993. In the same year, Dr. Karl Busch introduced the Cobra vacuum pump, which was put into operation for the first time at the Swiss pharmaceutical manufacturer Lonza - a highlight in the company's history. Another milestone was the use of the first Cobra NC vacuum pumps in steel degassing in 2002.

Under the leadership of Christian Muser, Managing Director of Busch AG since May 2005, another important step in the company's history is now imminent: the joint Swiss sales, system construction and service center of Busch and Pfeiffer is being built in Sisseln in the canton of Aargau. The new building will be completed in October 2025. From January 2, 2026, the 34 employees of Busch AG will move into the premises. On March 1, 2026, the colleagues from Pfeiffer Switzerland will follow, so that both Swiss Busch companies will then work together under one roof for their customers. "We are looking forward to growing together as a company and further expanding our leading position in the Swiss market. The new building offers us the opportunity to grow, particularly in service and system construction, and to offer our customers outstanding vacuum solutions from a single source. After all, the satisfaction and loyalty of our customers is our company's most important asset," emphasizes Christian Muser. In order to provide its customers with the best possible support, Busch AG regularly organizes seminars on vacuum solutions for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The Busch Group is one of the world's largest manufacturers of vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, blowers, compressors and exhaust gas purification systems.
