BASF Coatings receives Green Impact Pioneer Award
BASF Coatings has been honored with the Green Impact Pioneer Award at the 12th Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award of the European Chamber of Commerce in China. The cathodic dip coating (CDC) CathoGuard 800RE from BASF Coatings was honored.
The Green Impact Pioneer Award honors European companies operating in China that are pioneers in environmental and climate protection and contribute to positive environmental impacts through innovative solutions or practices. The jury honored BASF Coatings' cathodic dip coating (CDC) for proven environmental and operational benefits in automotive coating. The technology enables up to 68% less fresh water consumption per vehicle, reduces CO₂ emissions by around 8% and increases material efficiency by up to 20%. At the same time, the highest safety and approval requirements are met.
