Automated deburring with Fastems robotic cell
At DeburringExpo 2023, Fastems will be demonstrating how deburring can be achieved with consistently high part quality without the need for large numbers of staff with the automated production cell "Robotic Finishing Cell" (RFC).
The Robotic Finishing Cell (RFC) is a modular robotic cell for automated deburring of different workpieces. Unlike workpiece-guided finishing processes with a fixed number of spindles and thus limited selection of tools, this solution is designed for tool-controlled finishing.
It therefore offers a very high degree of flexibility both in terms of the part mix (size, weight and geometry of the workpieces) and the number of tools provided for this purpose. The robotic cell is available as a stand-alone solution or can be integrated into a Fastems flexible manufacturing system (FMS). The RFC will be presented at Fastems booth 221 during DeburringExpo 2023.
