Asis will be presenting itself at PaintExpo 2026 as an automation expert for perfect surfaces and will be showcasing trade fair highlights such as retrofitting paint and powder coating systems, partial powder coating and AI for real-time analysis.

At PaintExpo 2026 in Karlsruhe, Asis will be showing how operators of existing painting and powder coating systems can use retrofits to increase productivity, energy efficiency, availability and safety - from PLC/software upgrades, sensor technology and visualization to automation and digital networking. Supported by digital pre-acceptance, 3D scans and simulation, transparent data flows, fast commissioning and long-term process reliability are created. Retrofitting extends the service life of existing technology, reduces resource consumption compared to new systems and creates the basis for data-based optimization and modern maintenance and analysis concepts. Asis is also presenting a fully automated solution for partial powder coating that completely replaces manual work steps. The system includes automated plug pulling, flexible masking techniques, robot-based coating and targeted powder extraction - designed for reproducible quality, short cycle times and high material efficiency. Reusable masks, chemical-free cleaning and powder recovery save resources and operating costs. In addition, automated unmasking and laser-based cleaning ensure sharp-edged results even with complex contours.

PaintExpo highlights from Asis

With the virtual factory, Asis offers a comprehensive digital planning package - from accessibility and cycle time studies, robot simulation and offline programming to complete virtual commissioning. Precise 3D scans, realistic simulations and digitally generated robot programs allow systems to be tested, optimized and validated even before the first real installation. The benefits: maximum planning quality, shorter commissioning times, reduced risks and an exact forecast of subsequent throughput. The digital factory is therefore a key building block for economical, sustainable and future-proof plant projects. With Surface Analytics AI, Asis is expanding its software solution to include local artificial intelligence for real-time analyses. The extension offers a virtual data scientist, automated trend and root cause analyses, an interactive chatbot and dynamic diagrams - completely locally, without cloud data outflow. Another trade fair highlight is the Asis workshop, which takes the form of a compact skills challenge. Visitors can carry out typical assembly steps themselves and experience how modular and maintenance-friendly the Asis solutions are. The question is: Who will be the winner of the day and "Hero of Application"? Every participant at PaintExpo wins, and the fastest of the day also receives a daily main prize. At the same time, the workshop offers the opportunity for direct exchange with Asis specialists - ideal for practical dialog and technical insights.
