AMB Award 2024 presented

The AMB Award 2024 for outstanding innovations in metalworking was presented for the first time at AMB 2024. In addition to the six winners in the categories, two special prizes were also awarded in the sustainability category.
AMB, one of the leading international trade fairs for metalworking, announced the winners of the AMB Awards 2024. The award ceremony took place from September 10 to 12, 2024 at the AMB Stage in the Atrium of Messe Stuttgart. The AMB Award recognizes the best products and exhibits on display at AMB. It thus offers a comprehensive overview of the current state of the art in the metalworking industry. The evaluation was carried out by a high-caliber, neutral jury consisting of representatives from the three sponsoring associations and the scientific community. This close cooperation ensures an objective and competent assessment of the exhibits and products submitted.
In the Software & Digitization category, goCAD GmbH won with its web store for CNC contract manufacturers. Liquidtool Systems AG scored points in the Components, Assemblies and Operating Materials category with its automatic cooling lubricant management system. The winner of the Measurement Technology & Quality Assurance category was Mahr GmbH with its roughness measurement directly in the CNC machine (as reported by Oberfläche-Online). Hainbuch GmbH won the Precision Tools category with its clamping mandrel product, while Sodick Deutschland GmbH won the Machine Tools and Production Systems category with its wire erosion with the iGroove+ rotation process. exoIQ GmbH came out on top in the Automation and Handling Technology category with an active exoskeleton. The Special Prize for Sustainability I was won by Vito AG with its cooling lubricant filter and Ceratizit S.A. with the Special Prize for Sustainability II and the carbide milling cutter made from secondary raw materials. AMB and the jury congratulate all winners and nominees on their outstanding achievements and innovations, which make a significant contribution to the further development of the metalworking industry.
