Afotek at Paintexpo: New control tool
At Paintexpo 2022, Afotek will present an innovative control and monitoring tool as well as an environmentally friendly concept for the cost-efficient cleaning of exhaust air streams. This year, the focus of the general contractor for painting systems is on the topic of "Industry 4.0 in surface technology".
At Paintexpo 2022, Afotek will present its innovative coating plant visualization in Hall 1, Booth 1130. The entire plant is mapped by means of a digital plant twin. According to the manufacturer, this enables the plant operator to operate the plant in an intuitive, simple and user-friendly manner. The plants are equipped with a Siemens Simatic S7-1500 and feature the latest control technology. Clear plant visualization is provided on a touch display. During the fully automatic process sequence, detailed information on operating states, work steps, orders and goods carriers is clearly displayed on the plant computer.
At the customer's request, part tracking within the coating system can be made possible by installing reading points so that each process step of the part to be coated can be recorded and queried. Each shuttle can be provided with detailed order data that can be called up permanently. This includes basic data such as order and article number, but also, for example, color/powder designations, number of pieces per shuttle or the curing parameters.
