Adler successful at Trä & Teknik in Sweden

The Austrian paint manufacturer Adler attended the Trä & Teknik 2024 trade fair in Gothenburg for the second time and made valuable contacts. The company sees great potential in Sweden in the area of water-based coatings, as solvent-based coatings are still widely used there.
At the beginning of September, Adler Fensterindustrie Sales Manager Klaus Vettori, Area Manager Tobias Benker, Marketing Manager Christian Laucher and Key Account Manager Markus Körner traveled to Gothenburg for the "Trä & Teknik" trade fair in Sweden. The trade fair is the leading event for the Scandinavian timber industry and all related sectors. "Timber and window manufacturers, as well as furniture manufacturers and joiners, stopped by our stand and we were once again able to make some very promising new contacts," reports Körner about his "home game". The sales professional, who was already on the road as an Adler sales representative in Bavaria a few years ago, has set off for new shores: he moved to Sweden and has recently been shuffling the cards for Adler here.
Körner can score highly with the high-quality products from the Tyrolean paint manufacturer - above all because he has a strong ace up his sleeve: "In Sweden, a lot of work is still done with solvent-based paints - our expertise in the field of water-based paints is just what's needed," he says with conviction. The environmentally friendly coating solutions of the highest quality enable him to achieve many a stitch. Adler's diversity also plays into his hands: "In Sweden, a lot of construction is done with wood, but effect glazes such as Pullex Platinum or a maintenance-free wooden façade thanks to the pre-greying glaze Pullex Silverwood are a real novelty here," he says, seeing great opportunities to gain ground in timber construction. As well as in the door and window industry, for which the high quality of Adler's water-based three-layer systems is a real statement. In day-to-day work, personal contact is unbeatable: The Swedes place enormous value on direct conversation. Körner therefore travels a lot, visiting companies, offering demonstrations and presenting sample surfaces and references. In return, he receives a great deal of interest and positive feedback.
