30th "Stuttgart Industry Meeting: Paint - Varnish - Surface"
The Stuttgart industry get-together: Paint - Varnish - Surface will take place for the 30th time on May 28, 2025 (4.30 - 7.00 pm). The free online event will include two topical presentations from the coatings industry.
Under the motto "Current topics of the environmental debate and their possible effects on the development, production and processing of coating materials", the Association of Paint and Varnish Engineers VILF and the FG Lackchemie in the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker GDCh are organizing the 30th "Stuttgarter Branchentreff: Farbe - Lack - Oberfläche". Two lectures are on the program: Michael Keller, Münzing Chemie GmbH, on "PFAS regulation and solutions for the coatings industry" and Dr. Martin Klatt, BASF SE, on "Microplastics (Synthetic Polymer Microparticles)".
As part of the event, prizes from the companies Mankiewicz and FreiLacke will be awarded to students on the Bachelor's degree course in Chemical Engineering/Paint and Coatings. The event will take place online via MS Teams and participation is free of charge. For organizational reasons, the organizers ask for pre-registration by e-mail by 27 May 2025 to the following e-mail address: Margarete.Zacherl@fpl-ev.de. Participants will receive an access link by email in good time before the event.
