30 years of Vapic: generational change in management
Cleaning specialist Vapic celebrates its 30th anniversary and at the same time sets the course for the future: company founder Reiner Wolf hands over the management of the company to his son Samuel Wolf on December 1, 2025, who will continue to run the company with Jonas Keppler.
Reiner Wolf founded the company "Reiner Wolf - Technischer Dienst" in 1995, which was renamed Vapic GmbH in 2005/2006. After around 30 years at the helm of the company, Reiner Wolf is now retiring. It is not easy for him to say goodbye - after all, he has continuously built up and shaped "his baby" over three decades. Nevertheless, he is aware that both the handover of the majority shareholding and the handover of the management are necessary to pave the way for the future. Reiner Wolf will remain associated with the company as a Senior Consultant. His son Samuel Wolf has been with the company since 2017. After training as an electronics technician for devices and systems at Berthold Technologies, he started at Vapic as a mechatronics technician and qualified as a technical specialist and technical business economist while working. Since July 2022, he has been responsible for the areas of chemistry, sales and marketing and was appointed to the management board in April 2023. By taking on central areas of responsibility at an early stage, he was able to familiarize himself comprehensively with the company's processes and actively shape the strategic development of the business divisions. Samuel Wolf will be 30 years old in December 2025.
Vapic well positioned for the future
Despite challenging economic conditions, Vapic is optimistic about the future. The order books are well filled. Reiner Wolf attributes this to the company's special focus: "We don't just sell machines, we sell processes - and we are probably the only company that offers plant engineering, contract cleaning and cleaning chemicals from a single source." This combination gives Vapic a high degree of flexibility and makes the company a sought-after partner. Samuel Wolf formulates the guidelines for the coming years: the strategic further development of his father's company ideas, the consistent implementation of the motto "The best solution for every cleaning task" and a clear vision that defines the claim - Vapic should become synonymous with parts cleaning. The company now has over 80 employees - and the team is particularly important to Samuel Wolf. With a strong presence on social media and regular applicant days that enable personal interviews, Vapic succeeds in targeting skilled workers. The result: the company has no shortage of skilled workers and can reliably fill open positions.
Samuel Wolf and Jonas Keppler join the Vapic management team
Alongside Samuel Wolf, Jonas Keppler will remain on the management board. Keppler has been part of the company since 2009. The trained mechatronics engineer with further training in mechanical engineering initially joined the company as a technician and then took on responsibility in various areas. He has been a member of the Management Board since 2017. Together with Samuel Wolf, he forms an experienced and reliable management duo that is shaping the future of the company on a stable foundation.
