Tramaco GmbH presents Trapylen 9500 W, a highly developed adhesion promoter system. The primer is particularly suitable for applications that require exceptional temperature stability.

Trapylen 9500 W from Tramaco is a chlorine-free, water-dilutable adhesion promoter based on acrylate-modified polypropylene. With a high melting point of 120 °C, Trapylene 9500 W offers excellent temperature resistance and flexibility. These properties make it ideal for use in processes that take place at high temperatures, such as heat-sealing aluminum to polypropylene.

In addition, Trapylene 9500 W is process-related solvent-free, which both reduces the environmental impact and increases occupational safety, as no harmful vapors are released. Another highlight of this product is its excellent affinity with polyolefinic films, particularly those based on PP, TPO and TPE. This makes it ideal for the chemical pre-treatment of these films as well as molded parts made of polypropylene and PP blends that are subsequently to be painted or embossed. Furthermore, Trapylene 9500 W can be incorporated directly into dispersions of adhesives, paints or printing inks if compatible.
