RAL Farben launches digital color libraries

With the new digital RAL color libraries the RAL color values can be imported into different graphic programs to be able to work digitally with RAL colors already in the planning phase. The color libraries are now available for download.
In times of advancing digitalization, holistic, cross-interface planning is highly relevant in project work. For this reason, RAL Farben is launching digital color libraries for the globally recognized and standardized RAL color tones, which now make it possible to transfer the physical color sample into the digital color space. This way color, surface and form can be harmonized already in early planning phases. This means that RAL Colors now supports the entire planning process from the digital design phase through to physical sampling.
Thanks to digital color libraries for the more than 2,500 RAL colors, designs and prototypes can be visualized and provide a first impression of the applied color tone. Through unique color designations and RAL codes, the standardized color shades can be clearly communicated across the globe. The RAL color libraries can be purchased as download files for all three color palettes and contain color values in Lab and RGB. The basis of the digital color values are the precise RAL color samples which were colorimetrically read in cooperation with the Cologne ColorDigital GmbH and transferred into common file formats. An integration of the files into common software programs, such as Adobe Cloud, Corel or Allplan, is therefore quickly and easily possible. This makes digital work with RAL Colors equally possible for creatives from architecture, interior design, product design as well as graphic design. RAL Colors thus contributes to a simplified color design and efficiency in the planning process.
