Nordmann at the European Coatings Show 2025

Nordmann, an international chemical distributor, will be exhibiting at the European Coatings Show 2025 (ECS) in Nuremberg together with its partners Ergon International, Honeywell, Olin and SNCZ. The company will be presenting many new products for the paint and coatings industry.
Nordmann and its partners will be exhibiting at the ECS in Nuremberg from March 25 to 27, 2025 at booth 3-126 in hall 3. "We are looking forward to presenting many new products to our customers at this year's exhibition," explains Sebastian Klüver, Sales Director Europe, CCI - Composites, Construction & Industrial at Nordmann, and continues: "To name just a few: Ergon International will showcase its innovative range of specialty naphthenic oils known for their low pour points, exceptional solubility, low odor and excellent color retention. These versatile oils are also available as ISSC+ certified materials for sustainable sourcing. The company will also be showcasing its recycled NuovoPrene products, bio-based EcoPrene materials and vegetable oils, which are sustainable alternatives to conventional mineral oil products." Ignacio Javier Núnez Zorriqueta, Sales Director CASE at Nordmann Germany, adds: "For Honeywell, it's all about the improved performance profile of adhesives. The company has developed the polyethylene and polypropylene waxes of the A-C, ACumist and Cohesa emulsions brands to make adhesive formulations more efficient, improve processing and increase the value of the end products. Secondly, Honeywell presents NduroMatt, a state-of-the-art, multifunctional polymer-based additive. The additive offers unique benefits for formulators looking for new matting agents for surface finishing."
Sustainability at Nordmann and partners at the ECS
Sustainability is a top priority for co-exhibitor Olin: the company offers innovative epoxy blends with the product designations D.E.R. 3111 and D.E.R. 3561, which comply with new labeling regulations for reactive diluents. In addition, the epoxy dispersion D.E.R. 915, combined with the newly developed hardener D.E.H. 828EU, has virtually no VOC content and protects metallic objects from corrosion, extending their service life. Nordmann partner SNCZ is pleased to introduce its innovative range of environmentally friendly zinc phosphate-based pigments: the Novinox ACE products. These anti-corrosion pigments are based on patented ACE technology, offer high performance and are compatible with both solvent-based and water-based formulations.
Nordmann with own brands at the ECS 2025
"Another important focus of ECS 2025 is our own brands. We have a range of additives under our own brand Norrheo. They are used for rheology control in solvent-based and solvent-free systems for the coatings industry. Norrheo organo-silicates have the advantage of increasing viscosity at low shear rates and anti-settling behavior. In addition, with Norstar E6 PRO we offer innovative, highly effective starch ethers of the latest generation for the construction industry. They are suitable for the production of high-quality tile adhesives in accordance with DIN EN 12004. In addition to its proven good workability and high slip resistance, Norstar E6 Pro allows the open time of tile adhesives to be extended by 15%, in some formulations even by up to 25%. That's something to be proud of," comments Torsten Heller, Global Sales Director CASE & Elastomers at Nordmann. Bahar Aydin, Business Manager Europe Coatings & Inks at Nordmann, adds: "Nordmann has been exhibiting at ECS for over 30 years. We look forward to holding personal discussions with our business partners and exchanging ideas with experts at this important industry meeting. In addition to the co-exhibitors, many of our international Nordmann colleagues from the 24 subsidiaries are represented in Nuremberg. That's great."
