At Sicam 2025 in Pordenone, Jowat Italia Srl will be showcasing innovative adhesive solutions that combine sustainability, efficiency and the highest processing quality. These include bio-based adhesives and adhesives for edge bonding furniture.

At Sicam (October 4 to 17, 2025), the international supplier trade fair for the furniture industry, adhesives manufacturer Jowat will be showcasing a comprehensive portfolio for environmentally conscious bonding with its Green Adhesives range, in line with this year's motto "All ideas for the furniture of the future". The focus is on four core aspects: The use of renewable raw materials, resource efficiency and user and consumer protection. Among other things, Jowat promotes the use of recyclates and offers adhesives with mass-balanced raw materials thanks to ISCC PLUS certification. With the mass balance process, renewable raw materials can be added in early production stages and allocated to the adhesives by calculation at the end - this demonstrably promotes the use of renewable raw materials without changing the technical properties.

Jowat innovations and highlights at Sicam

With the new Jowacoll Grow 125.00 dispersion adhesive, Jowat offers a solution that is 30% bio-based (in accordance with ISO 16620-4) and enables easy processing for furniture production. The PVAc dispersion adhesive thus supports manufacturers in implementing sustainable production processes. The new surface adhesive is used for the flat lamination of decorative papers, veneers and laminates through to the production of lightweight furniture panels. Optimized rheological properties ensure stable application and reliable running properties on roller systems. The proven adhesive Jowatherm Pur 608.00 impresses with its resource efficiency and quality in edge bonding. It is also available as granules in a handy pull-ring can for the trade. For demanding conditions, the powerful Jowather Pur 608.10 completes the range. Thanks to its pronounced hot tack and fast cohesion build-up, Jowatherm Pur 608.10 enables secure bonding even under difficult climatic conditions - for example at high ambient temperatures in production halls during the summer months. The reliable adhesion also ensures that subsequent processes such as milling or formatting can be carried out immediately afterwards - without waiting times or loss of quality. Jowat will be represented at Sicam 2025 in Hall 4, Stand C1.
