General Motors names BASF supplier of the year 2023

The General Motors Supplier of the Year Award recognizes global suppliers that excel in exceeding GM's requirements, providing innovative technologies and meeting the highest quality standards in the automotive industry. The awards were presented during GM's recent supplier event in Miami, Florida, USA. "General Motors is a great strategic partner for us," said Uta Holzenkamp, President, Coatings Division, BASF, who accepted the award on behalf of the company in Miami. "Our customers are at the center of everything we do. This award is a testament to our commitment to GM and the strength of our long-standing relationship of trust." BASF's Coatings division is a leading provider of surface solutions, supplying GM with a range of products from surface treatments to protect against corrosion to a colorful palette of topcoats and glossy clearcoats.

A global, cross-functional team from GM selects the winners of the Supplier of the Year Award based on their performance in categories such as Product Purchasing, Global Services for Purchasing and Production, Customer Care, Aftersales and Logistics.
