Formnext 2023 has got off to a very successful start and will be presenting the international elite of additive manufacturing (AM) and modern industrial production in Frankfurt am Main until November 10, 2023.

Formnext 2023 has already attracted a very high visitor response on the first day of the trade fair, a wealth of world premieres and a supporting program full of highlights along the entire process chain. With 859 exhibitors and a booked gross area of more than 54,000 m², the ninth Formnext will turn the trade fair metropolis on the Main into the global center of innovative and sustainable production solutions with a focus on additive manufacturing for four days. From the construction industry to the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, medical technology and art: Formnext 2023 will showcase an unparalleled variety of applications and solutions for different industries. "Every industrial company that wants to remain competitive, innovative and sustainable in the future should look into additive manufacturing," says Sascha F. Wenzler, Vice President Formnext, Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. Formnext is the annual highlight for the AM world and brings together a community of technology and innovation enthusiasts (the "fAMily") in Frankfurt for four eventful and inspiring days at the trade fair. At Formnext 2023, the international elite of the AM industry will present numerous world premieres, so that visitors can not only take a look at the latest technologies, but also discuss future production solutions. Exhibitors will also be showcasing solutions along the entire process chain - from design, production and materials through to post-processing and quality assurance. "You can only be successful with AM if you have the entire process under control," says Wenzler.

Formnext provides the necessary know-how and inspiration with a unique supporting program, including a multi-day conference program that is freely accessible to trade fair visitors, numerous special shows and much more. "Visitors to Formnext will find an incomparably wide-ranging and forward-looking offering. Everyone, from AM professionals to beginners, should come to Frankfurt until Friday and benefit from this unique platform to expand their know-how, be inspired and expand their network," explains Wenzler. A highlight of the supporting programme is the premiere of the special show "Service Provider Marketplace", which is being organized in cooperation with Daimler Truck & Buses. Well-known automotive companies such as Daimler Truck & Buses and Brose will use applications to show how they use AM and what role service providers play in this context. Many solutions and innovations on the subject of sustainability will be presented by this year's partner region Nordic, which will also demonstrate the economic potential of the AM sector in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Formnext will also be complemented by a digital platform this year. On Formnext Stream, exhibitors' product offerings can be screened and contacts and appointments (physical and online) can be arranged. A highlight of Formnext Steam is the opportunity to follow the stage program live and on demand with Formnext.TV.
