BYK spectrophotometer for color quality control of small parts

BYK is expanding its product portfolio of portable spectrophotometers. Color quality control of small parts is made easy with the new Spectro2go XS.
The color and appearance of a product are key factors in the decision-making process. Whether buying a car or simply shopping at the supermarket, for 85% of shoppers, color is a key reason why they buy a particular product. To meet all the requirements associated with the wide range of products to be tested, BYK is expanding its product portfolio of portable spectrophotometers. When it was launched in 2018, the Spectro2guide was a novelty on the market in several respects. From the vertical design, whose shape follows the function and ensures that the large touchscreen is always in view, to the combination of 3 measuring principles in one: color - gloss - fluorescence. This was followed in 2020 and 2021 by the Spectro2guide Pro with increased accuracy for the exact measurement of deepest black and the Spectro2go, which represents the entry into the Spectro2 family.
The new Spectro2go XS from BYK with a reduced measuring aperture (∅ 5 mm) for color quality control of small parts now completes the family. What they all have in common is the intuitive operation via the icon-based menu and the integrated camera, which shows a live preview of the measuring area to ensure precise positioning even on the smallest samples. Like the other members of the Spectro2 family, the Spectro2go XS uses innovative, powerful LED technology as its light source. Due to its outstanding properties, the short-term, long-term and temperature stability as well as the homogeneous illumination of the measuring spot are unsurpassed in the industry. This results in outstanding accuracy and an excellent device agreement of dE94 < 0.11.
