An in-service training course to become a certified professional specialist for industrial parts cleaning (IHK) starts on September 16, 2024. It is run jointly by SBG and the Fraunhofer FEP and is one of the few further training courses in the field of industrial parts cleaning.

If you were looking for a recognized training course in the field of industrial parts cleaning, you would rarely find one. Industrial parts cleaning is becoming increasingly relevant in the industry due to the fact that even the smallest impurities on supposedly simple components can significantly impair the functionality of later products. However, certified training in this area is not yet available on the market. In the InnoVET project "CLOU - Future Cluster for Innovative Vocational Training", the foundations were laid together with partners for a new training program in this area, which offers a certified qualification and comprehensive content in many areas of industrial parts cleaning.

The newly designed and exclusive advanced training course to become a "Certified Professional Specialist (m/f/d) for Industrial Parts Cleaning - BeSTeR" will now start in fall 2024! Interested individuals with a passion for industrial cleaning processes can start the in-service training course and register now. Further details on the training course can also be found on the Fraunhofer FEP training page. The offer is a pioneering cooperation between the Fraunhofer Institute for Electron Beam and Plasma Technology (FEP) and the Sächsische Bildungsgesellschaft für Umweltschutz und Chemieberufe Dresden mbH (SBG) Dresden and is eligible for funding through the so-called Aufstiegs-BAföG. The in-service training course focuses on a sound understanding of the fundamentals of industrial parts cleaning and the practical mastery of relevant skills. On request to the project manager, Mr. Weile (daniel.weile@fep.fraunhofer.de), there is an exclusive discount after registration.
