Respirators from Atorn for drilling, grinding and welding

Six new FFP masks in the A-Mask series from Atorn offer maximum safety when drilling, grinding, welding and other dust-intensive work. Hahn + Kolb offers various models with filter classes FFP2 and FFP3.
The new particle-filtering half masks from Atorn protect against solid or liquid substances that are harmful to health, for example in wood and metalworking or during welding and cleaning work, and prevent illness. The A-Mask series from Atorn includes both preformed and foldable respirators. The former are quick to put on and retain their shape. The 3-part design of the foldable versions allows facial movements when speaking. All new models have soft sealing lips and a flexibly adjustable nose clip. This ensures a reliable and comfortable fit. A continuous headband and soft material edges also increase safety and comfort.
Two of the preformed and foldable masks each have filter class FFP2, one without and one with a valve. The A-Mask 5 and 6 variants are equipped with a valve and have the FFP3 filter class, both preformed and folded. The higher the filter class, the higher the filter performance. FFP2 masks allow 10 times the occupational exposure limit value (OEL) and offer protection against particles of harmful or carcinogenic substances. These include beech wood dust, but also fungi from waste disposal and glass or mineral fibers from roof insulation. FFP3 masks allow 30 times the OEL and prevent very toxic substances and viruses from entering the respiratory tract. This protection class is required, for example, when welding stainless steel or aluminum, or to filter bacteria from medical waste from the air.
