Oltrogge takes over compressed air technology from Flaco

Bielefeld-based Oltrogge GmbH & Co KG is taking over the compressed air technology division of Flaco Geräte GmbH, based in Gütersloh, with effect from October 1, 2022. Oltrogge has been an engineering partner for technically sophisticated industrial solutions in the fields of surface and compressed air technology as well as machine tools for over 150 years. In 2020, the family-owned company brought the world market leader for compressor technology, Atlas Copco, on board as its compressed air partner. Flaco is already a long-standing partner of Atlas Copco and has been active in the field of compressor and compressed air technology for over 60 years. The medium-sized company with 85 employees offers services such as compressed air measurements as well as maintenance and repair for the region of East Westphalia-Lippe, in addition to commissioning and installation of compressed air systems.

"This is a merger in the best sense for the customer," explains Marcus Scheiber, Managing Director at Oltrogge. "A reliable compressed air supply is the be-all and end-all for any production. If the compressor fails, production usually comes to a standstill. From now on, customers of both companies can rely on even more service strength, a closer technician network and faster assistance in case of an emergency!" Flaco's customers will therefore retain their usual contacts and benefit from the considerable expansion of capacity," adds Daniel Oltrogge, managing partner at Oltrogge. Through the takeover, 25 compressed air service technicians from Oltrogge will join forces with Flaco's service technicians in order to complement each other in the best possible way and offer customers almost seamless service and support.
