VOA 2022 anodizing seminar qualifies employees

At the digital anodizing seminar of the Verband für die Oberflächenveredelung von Aluminium e. V. (VOA) from November 22 to 24, 2022, everything revolved around the consistent analysis of the individual process steps as a prerequisite for the highest quality management, possible defects and their prevention.
Reproducible, high-quality anodizing results for the global market can only be achieved with the help of top-qualified employees. The VOA's anodizing seminar was the optimal introduction for new employees, a perfect complement for trainees and ideally suited training for advanced employees. A total of eleven accomplished experts shared their extensive practical knowledge online with the numerous participants. "In order to be able to guarantee the quality of our products, it is essential to detect, eliminate and optimally avoid errors," said Friedhelm U. Scholten, Chairman of the Executive Board, summarizing the VOA's approach to the event. As in previous years, he took over the planning of the anodizing seminar and led through the extensive program. In this context, the VOA naturally also devoted appropriate space to the international Qualanod quality mark, of which the association is the general licensee in Germany, and addressed the specific requirements in accordance with the globally valid specifications.
Great thanks go to the speakers who enriched the VOA seminar with their knowledge: Friedhelm U. Scholten (AnodiTec Hamburg GmbH & Co. KG), Sönke Reinhardt (Novelis Deutschland GmbH), Thomas Sondermann (Alufinish GmbH & Co. KG), Jörg Steinkemper and Eckart Jacob (Metall- und Oberflächenchemie Sperzel GmbH), Frank Munk (Munk GmbH), Oliver Katschmareck (Chemetall GmbH), Roman Peter (Omya AG), Ralf Heitzelmann (Albea Metall-Oberflächentechnik GmbH), Wladislaw Feuchtenberger (Helmut Fischer Institut für Elektronik und Messtechnik) and Matthias Krämer (VOA). With its established seminars, the VOA takes up the idea of lifelong learning and trains employees in a targeted manner that is oriented to the needs of the company, because qualified personnel with up-to-date know-how is proving to be a decisive competitive factor for companies in global competition. An investment in the future: "We see continuing education as an important pillar of securing the workforce and skilled workers," explains VOA Managing Director Dr. Alexa A. Becker. For the coming year, the association is planning the Eloxal seminar as a face-to-face event in combination with the coating and Qualicoat seminar. "This will provide the opportunity for a personal, professional exchange, to keep one's own knowledge 'up to date', to receive cross-thematic training and to benefit from synergy effects of both proven surface finishing processes," says Dr. Becker.
