The Parts Finishing trade fair had to be canceled after various companies canceled their registration for the trade fair planned for November 2025 in Karlsruhe. The trade fair organizer fairXperts is now examining a new date for Parts Finishing.

According to the IFO business climate index, the mood in companies improved somewhat in July. However, when it comes to expectations, there is still a great deal of uncertainty. This is reflected not only in very restrained investment activity, but also in trade fair participation. This situation has now also led the organizer of Parts Finishing to cancel the event planned for November 2025.

Parts Finishing further development and new date under review

It is an innovative trade fair concept with which Parts Finishing 2025 was to be launched: presenting three topics over two days under one roof. "We actually met with a very positive response to this idea right from the start and had a promising level of registrations until around six weeks ago," reports Nicolas Herdin, Managing Director of the private trade fair organizer fairXperts GmbH & Co. "In the meantime, however, various companies have canceled their registrations." The reasons vary. Cost-cutting constraints were cited as well as the uncertain economic situation or difficulties in assessing the company's business development. This situation has now prompted the trade fair organizer to cancel the event planned for November 12 and 13, 2025 at the Karlsruhe exhibition grounds with a heavy heart. "Despite financial losses, this is the better alternative for us than holding an event where both exhibitors and visitors are dissatisfied in the end," adds Nicolas Herdin. The company management will now discuss the further development of Parts Finishing together with the exhibitor advisory board and discuss a new date for the trade fair.
