New ZVO Master Scholar Florian Pantleonn

Florian Pantleon, Master's student of electrochemistry and electroplating, Department of Electrochemistry and Electroplating at TU Ilmenau, will receive a ZVO Master's scholarship for the winter semester 2024/2025.
Florian Pantleonn, a new Master's scholarship holder of the German Surface Technology Association (ZVO), initially completed his training as a surface coater, which he completed in 2018 as the best in the state of Baden-Württemberg at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. He then completed further training to become a state-certified technician specializing in electroplating technology. This was followed in 2024 by a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Surfaces at the FH Südwestfalen Iserlohn and, since the summer semester of 2024, a Master's degree at the TU Ilmenau.
Pantleon thus shows an extraordinary interest and great passion for electroplating technology, on which he can now fully concentrate thanks to the ZVO scholarship of 400 euros per month. Since 2018, the ZVO has been awarding up to three scholarships per year for a Master's degree course with a focus on electrochemistry and electroplating. The application deadline is October 20 of the respective calendar year, with the ZVO Board of Directors making the selection.
