With another double-digit increase in sales of 14.5 percent, Hahn + Kolb Werkzeuge GmbH continues its successful course as a reliable partner to industry. In addition, Hahn + Kolb will continue to invest in the sustainable expansion of logistics and in future-oriented digitalization in 2023.

New and existing customers are increasingly relying on Hahn + Kolb's own brands. Compared to the previous year, the tool service provider and system supplier has again recorded a growing share of its own brands Atorn, Orion, HK, Autostat, Clip-Oflex and Opt-I-Store. The reasons for this are the high delivery capacity and quality of the products. The private label range is being steadily expanded and now includes more than 35,000 items at Atorn alone - from drilling, milling, turning, grinding and cut-off tools, as well as measuring equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), to workshop supplies and operating equipment. In 2022, the Atorn own brand also celebrated its 20th anniversary, which was accompanied by numerous anniversary offers and products. As a result, the Hahn + Kolb Group was able to gain new customers and thus market share, achieving total sales of 373 million euros and employing around 900 people. In Germany, growth amounted to 14.5%. For years, Hahn + Kolb has relied on a resilient partner network of mainly European suppliers. With its total range of 120,000 articles, the Hahn + Kolb Group is one of the world's leading tool service providers and system suppliers. Companies from the mechanical engineering, automotive, metal, electronics and energy industries, as well as in the food, transport and logistics sectors, benefit from the 125 years of experience and the associated individual, international and cross-location customer support.

At Hahn + Kolb, it is not only the customers and the employees who benefit from this success. For several years now, the workforce has been foregoing gifts for achieving self-imposed sales targets. Instead, these are linked to donations for social institutions. Hahn + Kolb is also focusing on increasing the sustainability of its operational processes, products, logistics and transport. This includes the expansion of digitalization as well as, for example, the cooperation launched in 2022 with the Plant-My-Tree reforestation project, which has been working in Germany since 2007 to protect the environment and climate and reduce CO2. The operating equipment sector is an important mainstay for the company and has grown disproportionately. This cooperation will therefore be continued in 2023. In logistics, an investment in a photovoltaic system on the central warehouse building is also planned. In addition to the existing solar installation on the administration building, it will further improve the company's carbon footprint. Hahn + Kolb also once again increased the electronic share of sales through various digitalization projects. Leaner, faster and paperless processes not only reduce sources of error and speed up delivery processes for the benefit of customers, but at the same time they reduce the ecological footprint, conserve resources and raw materials and reduce energy consumption.
