UV Days 2025 from IST Metz: trends and innovations

The UV Days have been the central industry event for optical systems since 2002. In 2025, visitors can once again look forward to an exciting program from 3 to 5 June - with live demonstrations, innovations such as Freecure and Smartcure, the UV Expo, keynote speeches and conferences, theme days and company tours. This year, the focus will be on the two innovative technologies Freecure and Smartcure. Freecure reduces the use of photoinitiators to a minimum or even makes them completely superfluous. This technology is particularly suitable for production with low-migration inks for sensitive products and packaging. Freecure makes it possible to reduce the number of dryers, which leads to considerable energy savings. Smartcure is an AI-supported curing technology that identifies potential energy savings, optimizes the curing process and extends the service life of LED systems. The system analyzes all relevant parameters, such as dryer output per unit depending on the ink location, ink and coating type and maximum production speed based on the required dose. The entire UV curing process becomes smarter, more sustainable and more efficient.

UV Days 2025: sustainability, efficiency and innovation

Whether keynote speeches, company tours, live demos or excursions - visitors can organize their day at the trade fair individually and according to their personal interests. The diverse event program not only offers first-hand expert knowledge, but also numerous networking opportunities. Visitors can register for the individual program items via the event app. In the afternoon, exhibitors and visitors are invited to end the day together at the Swabian wine village. The UV Days are all about sustainability, efficiency and innovation. In 2025, organizer and UV specialist IST Metz has adopted the motto Mission to Zero.
