Battery Show Europe: Hönle with solutions for battery production

Dr. Hönle AG will be exhibiting its wide range of modern UV curing systems at the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart from June 3 to 5, 2025. The focus will be on innovative solutions for battery production.
A key topic for Hönle at the Battery Show Europe 2025 is the application and curing of UV adhesives in the production of cell contact systems. Here, individual battery cells are first combined into modules, interconnected via cell connectors and then combined into an overall storage system. Hönle is presenting the LED Powerline 820 AC IC system, which offers high-intensity irradiation and enables precise curing in seconds. The devices can be arranged in modular rows and can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the respective irradiation section.
Curing UV insulating coating for battery cell housings
Another highlight is the curing (drying) of UV insulating coating for battery cell housings. This paint, which is usually blue in color, is sprayed onto the housings to ensure reliable insulation protection between the cells. The LED Spot 100 IC system from Hönle ensures the shortest possible curing times for the UV coating and therefore a fast throughput time in production. The high-intensity LED flood lamp offers reliable curing and ensures that the quality of the battery cell housings meets the highest standards. "With our innovative UV technologies, both from the Adhesive Systems business unit and the Curing business unit, we offer customized solutions for battery production. We look forward to presenting our latest developments at the Battery Show Europe in Hall 7, Stand B 61 and discussing the future of battery technology with our partners," says Florian Diermeier, Director Sales UV Equipment at Dr. Hönle AG, Business Units Adhesive Systems.
