Thyssenkrupp Steel at Intersolar Europe 2025: Long-term corrosion protection

Thyssenkrupp Steel will be showcasing ZM Ecoprotect Solar at Intersolar Europe 2025. These zinc-magnesium-coated steels are characterized by their durability, robustness and sustainability and offer outstanding corrosion protection for photovoltaic mounting systems.
With ZM Ecoprotect Solar, thyssenkrupp Steel offers an advanced solution for the corrosion protection of steel substructures in solar systems, which will be presented at Intersolar Europe 2025 from May 7 to 9, 2025 in Munich. The zinc-magnesium coating provides durable protection and guarantees a long service life for PV mounting systems. These metallic-coated steels can be excellently processed into roll-formed profiles and are ideal for use in various corrosive environments. By expanding the hot-dip coating line 6 with new melting kettles, Thyssenkrupp Steel is increasing its production capacities for zinc-magnesium products and can thus meet the growing demand for ZM-coated steels for the solar market. The range of ZM Ecoprotect solar-coated steels will be available with extended coating thicknesses and dimensions in the future.
Zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steels for durable corrosion protection
ZM Ecoprotect Solar is also available as CO2-reduced Bluemint Steel. This sustainable steel from Thyssenkrupp Steel makes a positive contribution to environmental and climate protection. The use of Bluemint Steel in PV mounting systems helps to reduce the ecological footprint of the solar industry and promote a sustainable future. Whether for ground-mounted PV systems, agri-PV or solar carport systems - the zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steels offer durable corrosion protection for PV mounting systems. The team from Thyssenkrupp Steel will be available at Intersolar Europe in Hall A6, Stand 137, to answer questions and discuss all aspects of solar energy.
