ILF: Alternating corrosion test chamber for environmental simulation

The ILF Magdeburg is investing in its next walk-in corrosion change test chamber. The test laboratory is thus demonstrating that it continues to focus on innovation and quality despite the challenges in the automotive sector.
With its alternating corrosion test chamber, the ILF is expanding its range of corrosion tests for components in the fields of automotive e-mobility, energy storage systems, photovoltaic modules and many more, and is once again increasing its testing capacities for its customers. As the majority of components have to be tested in the installation position, i.e. often horizontally and not at a 70° angle as was previously the case, testing can only be carried out in larger chambers. At the iLF Magdeburg, customers therefore have access to test chambers for DIN EN ISO 11997-1 / PV 1210 / PV 1209 (approved test laboratory of VW AG) with approx. 6m³, DIN EN ISO 11997-3 (approved test laboratory of Mercedes Benz AG) with approx. 6m³ and VW 96380 (approved test laboratory of Porsche AG) with 10m³.
In addition, testing facilities are available in test chambers with volumes of approx. 1000L and climatic chambers up to 1500L. Successful participation in numerous proficiency tests guarantees ILF customers a high level of expertise and quality assurance. The results can be viewed at any time. The ILF Magdeburg team is particularly proud of the fact that, despite growing test capacities and increasing test requirements, the service concept has been guaranteed with speed and reliability for many years.
