In October, Dörken Coatings hosted a three-part networking series entitled "Zinc flake system coating process for bolts with internal drive". In the online seminar, experts from various industries spoke about the coating of components with difficult geometries, in this case internal force attacks.

The aim of Dörken's online seminar series was to convey the knowledge that such components can also be coated with a zinc flake coating in series production. Experts from Dörken as well as from renowned companies in the fields of screw manufacturing and plant engineering could be won as speakers. The following lectures were presented as part of this series: Screw Science and Technology Force Internal Attack - Michael Stähler (Dörken) and Robert Kupczyk (Camcar Innovations); Parameters and Adjustment for Standard Coating Plants for Force Internal Attack Coating - Martin Grün (Dörken) as well as State of the Art: Presentation of Current Concepts of Various Plant Manufacturers - Janis Barth (WMV), Bruno Forster (Forplan) and Lars Hayen (Sidasa).

63 people from Europe and the USA came together digitally to watch the interesting presentations. Among them were representatives of coating companies, screw manufacturers and automotive manufacturers. Of course, the experts were also available to answer any open questions. "We are very pleased that the series of events was so well received"; says Tobias Kleyer, Team Lead of the Dörken Coatings Academy and organizer of the events. "The great feedback shows us that there is a huge amount of interest in this topic. We are sure that we were able to show the decision-makers in an informative and entertaining way that zinc flake is also ideal for screws with internal force attacks."
